STATE CAN BAN THE DJs AND DOLBY SYSTEM

The petition filed by the Association of Professional Audio and Lightening against the circular issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs. They also alleged in the given petition that police official issued blanket ban and arbitrary direction against the DJs systems and dolby systems.

High court of Bombay asks government of Maharashtra that under which provision or ruling they imposed this restriction on Djs and Dolby system.

The bench consist of Chief justice Dipankar Datta and Justice karnik hearing this petition of professional audio and lightening association that consist more than 140o members who work as employees and owners of rental agencies which provide service of these system to all over the Maharashtra.

Madhavi Ayyappan on behalf of the professional audio and lightening association filed this petition against the circular issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs and arbitrarily passed blanket ban by the police.

The court said how can the government or police office can bass absolute ban rule against the rules provided under the noise pollution rules. they cannot proceed without any complaint and impose ban on individual  providing service of Djs and dolby system or lightening.
