A finance manager and his partners were captured by the Delhi Police Unique Cell for purportedly having fake coins of ₹10 totalling to around ₹10.16 lakh, officials said on Sunday.

DCP (Extraordinary Cell) Rajiv Ranjan said they got a clue about an unlawful coin fabricating unit being worked external the Capital, it were completed to follow which a few assaults. Hence, the excellent blamed, recognized as 48-year-old Naresh Kumar, was captured with the fake coins.

The DCP added that Kumar admitted to his part in working the unit and further drove the police to his plants at Dadri in Haryana. “An aggregate of four assembling units making fake coins were found and more coins and machines were recuperated,” the DCP said.

Police added that they additionally tracked down 20 bundles with 15,000 coins at the units alongside electric engines and machines to etch the token and different plans on the coins.

His partners were additionally captured at Kumar’s command and were recognized as Santosh Mandal, Dharmendra Kumar, Dharmendra Mahto and Sharavan Kumar.
