Delhi high court directed the appearance of Honey singh in domestic violence case filed by his wife Shalini. On the previous date, he pleads for non-appearance before the court due to poor health. Court fixes the next date of hearing of the case on 3^rd November.

The court said that no one is above the law; Singh must be present personally on the next date of hearing. The court was also directed to produce the medical certificate and income tax return document.

Earlier the court restricted Singh from disposing off his owned property, jointly owned property, stridhan of his wife and other properties.

The applicant is his wife in this case. She filed the case under section 10 of the Domestic Violence Act, 2005. She alleged in her application that singh and his family harsh her and threaten her with physical injuries. She was constantly living in fear.

She highlighted the previous acts of the brutality of honey singh. She said everyone knows about his criminal history against the people who don’t fulfil his demands.

The plea alleged that the applicant is living in constant pain during her marriage. She was physically, mentally, economically, sexually tortured by singh. Further, she added that his family also tortured her.
