Vidhana police station commenced the investigation of threatening video posted on social media to threaten chief justice of Karnataka High court Ritu Raj Awasthi and others for giving judgment in Hijab case in which they highlighted that wearing Hijab is not essential to practice in Islam.
On Tuesday police on warrant brought Rahamathulla who belongs from Madurai for interrogation.
For investigation, he was taken into custody for 8 days directed by ACMM court.
Karnataka government has taken the threat very seriously as it can disturb the peace of society. The convict belongs to Tamilnadu Thowheed Jamaat.
