The Allahabad High Court has suspended an additional District Judge I (ADJ) at the Sultanpur District Court Manoj Shukla. ADJ Shukla was recently in the news about lying in front of a JCB / bulldozer last month to protect the ancestral land of the Basti district, which was acquired by the state government.

 ADJ Manoj Shukla was originally a resident of Chapia Shukla Village in the  Basti district. He is currently an ADJ in the Sultanpur district. Last month he was lying in front of JCB wearing a coat, trousers and a tie. The video of the incident also became a hot topic on social media.

Regarding this incident, the District Magistrate of Basti had despatched a file to the authorities and after receiving the same, the authorities had additionally forwarded it to the High Court.
