Harish Kumar Thakur’,the 22 year ,an LLB student of the  Agra college raped an innocent girl and strangulated her  her with his trouser. Thakur told in confession statement that he was drunk and did it in unconscious mental stage..

On 18-3-18 he was arrested and sent to jail.Talking to media, Mahesh Chandra Gautam(STA officer,Hariparwat) said, ‘We scanned the footage at CCTV Cameras and the boy was spotted at Agra College ground around 3 am along with the girl’

On 17-3-18 night ,the police has detained Harish from Raghunath tri-section while he was trying to leave the city.

On 18-3-18 ,Police registered a case and  arrested him against the IPC  u/s 302(murder) and 376(rape) along with the relevant sections of POCSO Act

The girl was sleeping on the footpath along with her family and Thakur came and took the girl to the Agra College ground, raped and murdered her.The girl’s body was found at 8:00 am by College staff.The girl’s parents homeless and hailing from Mathura identified the body.

Thakur admitted that the girl was requesting him to leave her but as he was in drunken state and he was in a fear that in case the girl identified him,he would be caught.
